CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (January 14, 2019) — GreenBlue is pleased to announce the appointment of Brent Nelson, Senior Manager of Customer Packaging Experience & Sustainability at Amazon, to its Board of Directors.
Brent is responsible for the development of sustainable packaging solutions for Amazon worldwide. Brent also brings more than 20 years of packaging innovation and supply chain experience to the organization, having previously worked at The Coca-Cola Company, Campbell Soup, PepsiCo and Henkel.
“Brent is an excellent addition to the Board,” said Nina Goodrich, Executive Director of GreenBlue. “His work at Amazon demonstrates his forward-thinking approach to sustainability that will be a tremendous asset as GreenBlue continues to grow.
Brent graduated with an MBA in Global Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Packaging from Michigan State University. He is considered a leader in his field and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, Environmental Leader, Packaging Digest, Markets Insider and more.
